Victor's award for God's glory!

Victor received an award this Sat. March 20, for the best athlete in men's gymnastics for 2009.

As Victor sat and listened to the numerous politicians give their speeches before the awards were given, he motioned to his father and asked:
Daddy, what are they saying? I can't understand anything!
(It appears politicians the world over have something in common!)
Thirty minutes later, Victor again motioned his father: Dad, they are only giving out awards to the people up on the stage, what about us athletes?
Finally, his patience was rewarded!

Victor's journey in gymnastics (2003-2009)

Here's a 3 min. video clip of Victor's participation in gymnastics since he was 3 years old. He started in Pittsburgh, attending one class per week and has persisted until now, with plans to continue. We rejoice with God's gift of excellent health for him and continue to pray with him that whether he wins or loses, all will be for God's glory!

What a joy it is to experience your child's successes (and failures)! Victor is growing up into a healthy, handsome young boy and his sister, Valerie, is his biggest fan! (check out these pictures!)
